Our work experience programme will help you build speaking and listening skills whilst gaining first-hand experience in a working environment.

We’ve teamed up with a wide range of companies here in Peterborough so we can offer lots of exciting work opportunities – in retail, administration, education and more, and your trip will combine 3-4 hours’ unpaid work experience per day with a wide range of fun activities, excursions and English lessons.
Highlights of Study & Work

Students should be aged 16 and above, with intermediate B1 level as a minimum requirement

3-4 hours’ unpaid work experience per day in local shops, small offices, nurseries, cafes, and sport centres, volunteering associations

2 hours’ English lessons held at Peterborough City College with qualified mother-tongue English teachers

Sport and fun activities

2 day-trips to London and Cambridge

Extra trips available (not included in the price) to Harry Potter World, Shakespeare Birthplace in Stratford Upon-Avon, Norfolk coast

Stay in pairs with one of our carefully selected host families who provide breakfast, packed lunch and an evening meal
