Meet the Comuni-co Team
Our small team brings together a wealth of experience in language teaching, translation and interpreting.
Our passion for languages and language learning comes through in our attention to detail and in the way we put our customers and students first at all times.
Concetta
After graduating in English and Spanish languages and literature from Bari University in Italy, then working for several years as a trainer in Thomas Cook Global Services, Concetta moved into UK secondary school education as a qualified language teacher. She has several years’ experience of teaching Modern Languages GCSE and A-level as Head of Italian in a boarding school. For several years she gained experience in teaching Italian to adults in Adult Education Colleges and currently runs private classes for learners of all ages and levels. In the last
eight years she has created and manages
Comuni-co with specific roles in sales and
curriculum.
James
A graduate in German and Italian from Oxford University, James has taught English in state and private schools in Sicily and Northern Spain. He is a qualified Italian to English translator and has over twenty years’ experience in editing English business and in corporate environment. James has a wide background in school governing and promoting sports for young people especially rugby and cricket, which he is qualified to coach.
In the last eight years he has been organising with Concetta study trips and school exchanges for Italian students.
He is also one of our teachers and
responsible for finance administration.
Maribel
Maribel is our latest addition to our team! She holds a Diploma in Economics. A keen traveller and a digital nomad too.
She is fluent in Italian, French and English.
Spanish conversation teacher, with more than one hundred students around the world in the last three years. She currently manages Comuni-co social networks.
She is also Comuni-co contact and leader in
Spain for group trips in England.
